Kyle Jaeger - operator
Kyle is the new operator of the Iowa Valley Bicycle Charter beginning in 2025. He has over 20 years of experience working with and directing other RAGBRAI charters. Interesting fact: in all those years, he has only been a rider for 3 days. Kyle and his wife, Laura, are excited to help IVBC continue serving riders. Outside of RAGBRAI, Kyle is a Midwest sales representative for a bicycle, parts, and accessories distributor. When he isn’t working, he can be found biking, hunting, or working on house projects.
Tony Etcher - registration coordinator
Tony is active in the Marshalltown-area bicycling scene and is the former president of the Iowa Valley Bicycle Club, serving from 2014-2024. Though the formal club recently disbanded, he and others in the community enjoy riding together in events such as RAGBRAI and also organize their own rides.

Iowa Valley Bicycle Charter for RAGBRAI®
The Iowa Valley Bicycle Charter is located in Marshalltown, Iowa and we have around 150 members. Marshalltown is located in the center of the state of Iowa. We are an official RAGBRAI® Charter and we host as many as 110 riders each year. With one or two air-conditioned tour buses and a 55’ semi-truck we carry all the riders, their bikes, and gear to the start town and return them from the finish town. We also have a 24’ Ryder rental truck and two drivers that carry our gear from campsite to campsite throughout RAGBRAI. We have a scout and scout vehicle that go to the next overnight town each night and is there first thing the next morning to secure our next campsite. Other services and amenities include: four pop-up canopies for shade, two portable toilets, plastic patio type chairs, air pumps and other bike tools for minor repairs, electronic device charging station, iced water cooler, and coolers of various types of pop and sport drinks. At no charge, rider’s autos can be parked at the Community College in Marshalltown for the entire week (the parking lot at the college is where we depart and return). We have over thirty years experience in providing this charter service and we specialize in helping first time riders. Our riders come from all over the U. S. and Canada; we are a family oriented team, and we have a great time! Those organizing and operating the charter are all volunteers, and any money we make goes to supporting bicycling interest and activities in our community. Come join us!
(All riders must have wristbands per RAGBRAI charter policy)
